Oline Construction is proud to announce the successful completion of the Sports Illustrated Stadium Concession Modernization Program, delivered in time for the 2026 home opener on Saturday, February 28, at the home of the New York Red Bulls.
Completed under an aggressive ten-week design-build schedule, the project transformed four concession locations within Sports Illustrated Stadium into modern hospitality environments designed to elevate the matchday experience, improve operational efficiency, and support a new generation of premium food and beverage service.
Executed inside a live professional sports venue during the offseason, the project required careful planning, tight sequencing, and real-time coordination among ownership, venue operations, food service leadership, specialty vendors, and trade partners. Every phase, design, procurement, construction, systems integration, and operational turnover, had to align with one immovable deadline: opening day.
A Stadium Experience Reimagined
As part of a broader stadium transformation, Red Bull New York partnered with Levy to launch Red Seat Hospitality, a new culinary and guest experience platform designed to enhance food, beverage, and premium hospitality throughout the venue. The Red Bulls announced that Red Seat Hospitality, powered by Levy, would officially launch at the February 28 home opener and oversee food, beverage, and hospitality across stadium concessions and premium areas.
Oline was selected to help bring that vision to life through a fully integrated design-build delivery model, modernizing concession spaces to support expanded menus, improved service flow, upgraded back-of-house operations, and a faster, more seamless guest experience.
The work extended beyond finishes and equipment. It required rethinking how hospitality environments function inside a high-volume sports venue, where service speed, reliability, safety, and fan experience all directly impact matchday operations.
Built Against an Immovable Deadline
In stadium construction, schedules are not flexible. Matchday does not move.
With only ten weeks from mobilization to turnover, Oline led the full project delivery effort, including design coordination, permitting support, procurement, construction execution, equipment integration, and final operational readiness.
Working within an active venue environment required detailed logistics planning, restricted access coordination, and precise scheduling around stadium operations, vendor activities, and commissioning milestones. Multiple trades operated simultaneously under compressed sequencing, requiring daily field leadership and constant communication to maintain momentum.
Despite the accelerated schedule and technical complexity, Oline achieved substantial completion on time and delivered all four concession environments fully operational ahead of the February 28 home opener.
Complex Systems, Seamless Execution
The project scope included major mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and low-voltage infrastructure upgrades to support the new hospitality environments.
Work included:
Each system had to function as part of a larger integrated environment, balancing code compliance, operational efficiency, and the demands of a live entertainment venue.
Design-Build Performance in Operating Environments
Sports Illustrated Stadium reflects what defines Oline’s design-build approach: early coordination, decisive field leadership, technical execution, and an unwavering commitment to schedule certainty.
Projects like this require more than construction expertise. They require the ability to align design, operations, stakeholders, and field execution under intense time constraints, where success is measured by whether the doors open on time and the guest experience performs as intended.
At Sports Illustrated Stadium, Oline delivered exactly that.
